Columbaria
A columbarium is a unit of niches that serve as the dignified resting place for cremated remains.
We at Trevor Floyd and Company can provide the services and support you will need in order to design columbaria to fit the available space under consideration and to ensure that it will aesthetically complement and fit within the designated area. The columbaria will also complement the furnishings and architecture already in place.
Our interior columbaria are of wood construction supplied with solid bronze faceplates and optional bronze urns. Many symbol designs are available for the bronze faceplates, with brass nameplates for engraving.
Niches are double sized to facilitate two urns however, single niches can also be provided.
Our exterior columbaria are of stainless steel construction and once the faceplates are sealed in place, they will protect the ashes, from normal weather events, insects, and rodents.
Our stainless steel units are delivered with attached solid bronze faceplates and optional bronze urns. Many symbol designs are available for the bronze faceplates, with brass nameplates for engraving.
Cremation and inurnment date to the antiquity of the church. Many European and East coast churches have their own cemeteries. where church cemeteries are not practical, a columbarium allows a church to provide this ministry of care for the remains of departed loved ones.
If a church is renovated or relocates, Trevor Floyd & Company columbarium can easily be relocated to a new site.
Matching furniture and furnishings are available to complement your columbaria, such as wall crosses, altar tables, flower stands, and prie-dieu.
Our columbaria are manufactured and supplied in a finished kit form, in that, you will have everything you need for a simple installation.
To save you, the client, monetary resources, we recommend having the units installed by a local contractor or landscape architect.
Our units are easily installed and rather than have expensive installation crews from out-of-state install the units, we have found a substantial saving in resources can be made here.
